PARKER HANNIFIN is Australia’s only single source supplier of fluid power and fluid connector products. We are currently seeking the services of a Manifolds Deburr / Assembler to work within our Hydraulics Value Stream at our Wodonga Manufacturing Facility.
Reporting to the Hydraulics Team Leader, you will coordinate and complete work through the assembly and deburr area as per works orders in a timely and efficient manner, to achieve premier customer service.
Representative Activities:
- Coordinate work through the assembly and deburr area as per work orders
- Ensure jobs are cleaned and deburred to the highest quality standards
- Always ensure job conforms to drawings specifications and any non-conformances are reported to the supervisor or manager
- Ensure completed manifold ‘meet list’ process is adhered to
- Check, issue and ‘close out’ works orders as per stores and customer requirements.
- Adequately pack and protect jobs for transport.
- Assist with raw material cutting and basic machining/operating tasks as and when required.
- Assist machinists with tool breakdown/presetting/cleaning and other Assembly tasks as required
Qualifications/Education:
- Minimum 2 years previous demonstrated experience in a fast paced, make to order manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of hydraulic components would be an advantage but not essential
Special Skills:
- Strong eye for detail
- Strong Mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve issues
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing and production principles, including safety and safe work practices
- Good time management and housekeeping skills, along with the ability to multi task.
