Your new company
This large Federal Government department is looking to engage a contractor to assist with the contract management activities for particular projects within the division.
Your new role
Being the preferred candidate you will be responsible for undertaking a range of activities including administering contracts and managing departmental compliance in line with contractual obligations. This includes providing contract advice to senior officers along with preparing complex briefings, reports and correspondence.
You will also assist in contract negotiations and have a strong involvement in regards to stakeholder engagement. It is desirable that you have a strong understanding of the government procurement requirements and have strong time management and interpersonal skills.
What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit a capable self starter, with proven experience in the Public Sector. Relevant qualifications in Procurement would be highly desirable however not essential.
