About the business and the role
FormFix Pty Ltd is a market leader in the fabrication, assembly and maintenance of cutting edge "jump form" formwork technology.
We are currently seeking motivated candidates to join our team within our yard and warehouse facility located in Russell Vale, North Wollongong.
Available positions include:
- Trades Assistant
- Forklift Operators
Job tasks and responsibilities
Hours
Offering 5 days work per week 7am - 3.30pm with overtime when required. The position is permanent full time subject to a mandatory probation period.
Training
On the job training will be provided. Experience in a construction or manufacturing based role is preferred.
Responsibilities
The use of hand and power tools is required daily. Reporting directly to your area supervisor you will be required to assist in the manufacture and assembly of components required in the erection of our specialised jump form technology.
Skills and experience
The positions offer immediate start working with our fast paced team and would require the successful candidates to possess the following;
Essential Qualifications
- Forklift license
- Construction Industry White Card
- Construction/manufacturing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Competent in the use of hand and power tools
- Drivers license and own transport
Attributes
- Physically fit and enjoy working both indoors and out
- Ability to work in a team envirnment
- Able to follow directions and instructions from area supervisors and managers
- Practical knowledge of WHS
