Our Sustainment division now has an opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Navy Cape Class In-Service Support team in Henderson on a full time, permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to support the development of accurate work packages in line with the established timeframes, for Navy Cape Class Maintenance periods, and Work Failure rectification.
Core duties will include:
- Develop accurate and timely Cape Class maintenance period work packages
- Maintain the maintenance period main work lists for assigned maintenance periods
- Identify material requirements for maintenance work packages
- Develop maintenance period schedules
To be considered suitable for this role, candidates will ideally have:
- Formal qualification in Mintenance Management, Engineering or Trade
- 5+ years’ experience in maintenance planning, preferably within Maritime industry
- Demonstrated working knowledge of maintenance management, planning and scheduling
- Demonstrated working knowledge of asset management standards, systems and processes Demonstrated working knowledge of configuration management systems and processes
- Experience with CMMS systems
- Excellent organisation and communications skills
- Competency with scheduling tools (preferably Primavera P6), and with Microsoft office
- While not essential, experience within the Defence supplier industry is highly advantageous
- Full and current Australian working rights.
