Our Company;
K&S Energy a division of K&S Freighters, core business revolves around the safe and efficient delivery of dangerous and hazardous goods throughout Australia. Our operation forms part of a network of strategically placed operations that enable us to provide logistics solutions to the chemical, fuel and bulk liquids industry. We are currently recruiting a Fleet Allocator/Compliance Officer to join our business on a full time basis for a position within our Fuel business, located at Mackay QLD.
Summary of Role;
The daily duties as the Fleet Allocator/Compliance will involve;
- Managing the various deliveries for our specialised fleet involved for Fuel Business.
- You will liaise with the customer and manage all aspects of the delivery management systems.
- Consistent communication with each driver during the route, whilst also managing any issues affecting their deliveries and ensuring all company safety standards are sustained.
- Full management of the driver and customer paperwork from start to finish.
- Ensure all customer KPIs are met on a daily/monthly and weekly basis or as required as part of the contract terms.
- Provide strong and consistent written, verbal communication to senior management and customer contacts where required
- Assist with reporting requirements as required by the customer or senior management of the Company.
- Assist with human resource functions i.e.; recruitment, performance management, termination
- General administration duties as required, i.e.; compliance, safety audit assistance, filing, tool box meetings etcetera.
Competencies Required;
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to achieve the following competencies;
- Supervisory and staff management skills
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and the Fuel / Energy regulations
- Awareness of driver fatigue management
- Sound knowledge of mining industry and associated transport regulations
- Sound computer knowledge
- Accurate data entry skills
- Time management skills
- Working to and maintaining strict health and safety requirements
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good customer service skills
