About The Opportunity

The Warehouse Team Leader operates within the wider Operations team based out of our Brisbane Warehouse. The role is to lead a team of manufacturers and warehouse staff, and oversee the function of stock management, furniture assembly and general warehouse maintenance and ensure it is performed in a timely, accurate and professional manner. At a minimum, the Warehouse Leader will be responsible for the following areas:

• Leadership of warehouse staff
• Leadership of warehouse staff
• Take a hands on approach in furniture assembly such as putting table tops on bases, both in-house and on-site
• Using drills and other tools associated with basic furniture assembly and install
• Overseeing deliveries and stock management according to order timelines
• Conduct stocktakes and manage stock organisation within the warehouse 
• Ensure that stock is stored and handled with care at all times
• Adhere to, and work within, the guidelines of all company policies with a heightened awareness relating to Workplace Health and Safety
• Ensure that the Warehouse is secure at all times and is kept clean and tidy
• Facilitate regular warehouse staff meetings as required
• Some heavy lifting will be required

Your Experience

• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment 
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment 
• Previous demonstrated senior experience in a warehouse environment and preferably with some trade skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Passion for continuous improvement and deliver operational excellence
• Forklift ticket• MR license desirable
• A positive attitude
• Highly motivated and keen to learn
• Strong communication
• Attention to detail
• Personal and professional pride in both appearance and deliverables.
