Client Details
Is one of Melbourne's leading steel fabrication business based in the Western Suburbs. With an exciting portfolio of projects in the pipeline they are looking for an experienced supervisor to run their busy workshop.
Description
Reporting through to the General Manager you will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of qualified boilermakers, fabricators and welders. With a busy order book you will ensure that safety, quality, productivity and delivery performance all form part of your daily responsibilities.
As the Workshop Supervisor you will lead by example and ensure that business is clean safe and organised
Profile
To be considered for the role you must be able to answer yes to the following
- Qualified Boilermaker
- Experienced with structural steel
- Previously managed and lead a workshop, supervising a team of qualified engineers.
- Capable of reading technical drawings
- Strong track record with Health and Safety performance
- Comfortable working six days a week to ensure delivery performance is met
Job Offer
An excellent hourly rate will be made available with super. An overtime program is also in place to ensure candidates are compensated. It is expected that you will be able to work on Saturday mornings
