M3 Logistics has rapidly emerged as a significant player in the electrical appliance industry, providing supply chain solutions to a growing list of major brands and blue chip customers. Agile, vibrant and ambitious, M3 Logistics is on a serious growth curve – and requires an experienced Inventory Controller to join their team in Sydney.

To succeed in this position you will have had experience in an inventory role preferably in a large FMCG or White goods operation, you must have a motivational attitude, hands on and proactive individual. You will possess excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise your workload to meet set deadlines.

Your role will include various duties such as (not limited to) liaising with customers and internal teams in regards to inventory requests, ensuring FIFO turnover of goods, investigate and resolve product discrepancies, plan and conduct branch daily cycle counts, manage major stocktakes, ensure product integrity, produce internal/external reports and management of the LCL process. Training will be provided.

In order to be considered for this position, you are required to meet the following essential criteria:

  • Plan, lead, organise and control all inventory related activities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage stocktakes and daily cycle counts.
  • Strong analytical and investigation skills.
  • High organisational skills with the ability to follow through to task completion, organise and prioritise workloads with a critical eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work in a dynamic and busy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a polite and clearly spoken phone manner.
  • An understanding of WHS in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience in providing customer service to both external and internal clients.

FMCG & WMS system experience necessary to be successful in this role ICS experience is an advantage but not essential.
