Seeking an experienced Honing Machine Operator or Trade Assistant willing to be trained. Working for a Large Hydraulic Manufacturing Company based in Eagle Farm. This position offers great career potential, supportive team environment and clean and tidy workshop.
What is a Honing Machine? Honing is a form of metal work, an abrasive machining process that produces a precision surface on a metal workpiece by scrubbing an abrasive stone against it along a controlled path. Honing is primarily used to improve the geometric form of a surface, but may also improve the surface texture.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in an Engineering Environment
- Experience with Honing Machine & engine rebuilding (highly preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Mechanical aptitude/ skillset
- Strong, fit & reliable work wthic
- Must have full PPE and own reliable transport
- $25 p/h + penalties
- Immediate job start
- Monday to Friday - 6am to 2pm
- Temp initially with view to Perm Position (for the right people)
