Health Food Distribution company in Capalaba seeking a Warehouse Co-ordinator.

You will have the opportunity to work with a friendly team and work directly with company owners.
We have opportunities for self-motivated people to join our operations team and can handle a fast-paced environment and can work without supervision. This role includes:
- Co-ordinating courier runs
- Dispatching & receiving of stock include coordinating freight companies
- Maintaining all inbound deliveries, unpacking and stock rotation
- Daily packing orders – dry, chilled and frozen
- Some delivery driving as needed
- Ad hoc duties.
- Working to deadlines in a demanding & fast paced environment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Full training provided for the right candidate
Please note that on a daily basis manual labour and heavy lifting is required.
To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes.
- Experienced, preferably warehouse picking and packing.
- Be a good communicator and good team player.
- Demonstrated Warehouse operations, distribution and/or logistics experience
- Proven ability to work well under pressure within a close knit team environment
- Committed and strong work ethic.
- Strong emphasis on driving a safety culture
- Willingness to listen and learn
- Positive “can do” enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently
- Computer literacy – excel, outlook
- Punctual and reliable as well as flexibility with hours
- Effective interpersonal and communication skill
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties
- Attention to detail
- Driver’s license essential
- Forklift license essential
