One of Australia’s leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry is rapidly expanding and currently hiring! Now is your opportunity to join this well known and reputable company in a permanent role!
Your daily requirements if successful for this role will be:
- Driving a truck and dog tipper around Melbourne.
- Liaising with the plant staff for raw material deliveries.
- Working in coordination with other tippers.
- Maintenance compliance on the trucks.
** Full training for truck and dog tipper will be provided! **
To be successful for this role, you must:
- Hold a valid and current Multi Combination or Heavy Combination truck licence with recent driving experience.
- Have a minimum of at least 1+ year of driving experience with MC or HC trucks.
- Have good knowledge of Melbourne metro and surrounding suburbs.
- Have a clean driving history and be able to supply a current VicRoads report.
- Be well presented and eagar to learn.
- Ability to commit to working 10-12 hour shifts on a regular basis.
- Ability to commit to a Monday - Friday roster, with the occassional Saturday overtime shift if required.
- Be able to commit to early morning shifts (usually between 5-7am), or late finishing night shifts (3-4am finishes)
- Be willing to learn a new skill driving truck and dog tipper if no previous experience.
- Roadranger experience favoured, but not essential.
- Ability to pass a pre-employement medical assessment, as well a drug and alcohol screening.
- Able to commit to an initial registration interview, followed by a second interview directly with the client if successful.
