Kelair Pumps Australia is a well-established, market leader in the pump and water industry. A major player in the sales, distribution and manufacturing of one of the widest ranges of pumping equipment in Australia, Our target markets include the industrial, mining, commercial and fire industries. We offer complete support to our extensive customer base through our offices located in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Launceston, Perth and Mackay.

 

Our customers rely on organised, efficient and reliable deliveries of their products and Kelair are looking for an ‘above average’ store person to join our stores team.

 

About the role

Join part of our busy team in Sydney, reporting to our Stores Supervisor. This full time, permanent role is located in the Arndell Park and will suit a resourceful applicant with all round capabilities who enjoys a challenge with a wide range of duties and responsibilities.

 

Key duties include:

  • Picking and packing spares parts and pump orders
  • Crating large pumps and therefore require excellent handyperson skills
  • Receiving shipments including engineering supplies and spare parts from suppliers
  • Computer data entry including receiving shipments and other computer skills including MS Office
  • Dispatching shipments via various online despatch systems
  • Liaising with courier companies
  • Liaising with internal Sales, Service and Purchasing departments 
  • Prioritising tasks
  • Problem solving
  • Using pallet jacks, forklifts and power tools
  • Some heavy lifting
  • Ad hoc duties as required

 

About You

If you are a proactive person with strong organisational skills, take pride and ownership in your contribution, have excellent attention to detail, aim to complete tasks to a high standard, and want to be part of a growing organisation this could be your long term role.

 

Your skills and experience would include:

  • Highly motivated with the ability to plan, schedule and manage time efficiently
  • Physically fit and healthy
  • Experience in Stores environment.
  • Have excellent handyperson skills
  • Customer focus and an ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to streamline internal communications
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Have the commitment to adhere to the companies Quality and WHSE policies and procedures
  • Be open to work overtime as required
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Forklift licence or be willing to obtain one

 

The successful applicant will be offered an excellent hourly rate based on their experience.
