Timberlink Australia is a leading edge international producer of softwood timber products for both domestic and export markets. Our South Australian mill is situated in Tarpeena (about 20 minutes from Mount Gambier) and currently has over 200 employees on site. Due to substantial growth in the business, we are now searching for a variety of different positions for skilled forklift drivers and front-end loader drivers.
About the role:
We are searching for hard working, dedicated staff who are searching for long term job security and a structured career pathway. With multiple positions available, this is the perfect time to join one of the leaders in the Mount Gambier region.
What we require you to have:
- Either a Valid High-Risk Forklift licence or Front-End Loader ticket with experience in moving large packages of material (timber products highly preferable) – we have forklifts size ranges between 7t and 18t, so you must be comfortable operating these
- An outstanding safety record and ability to demonstrate safe High-Risk operation practices
- An ability to maintain production outputs whilst working unsupervised for long periods
- An eye for detail and accuracy
- Own car and licence
- The ability to interpret and follow production schedules
- An ability to work on a 3 shift rotating day, afternoon and night shift roster or a specific night shift roster for the Front-End Loader positions
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a high performing team
