Procurement Analyst - Wetherill park Location
The Procurement Analyst leads and is responsible for developing strategies, managing sourcing initiatives, establishing strategic and operational contracts and supply management strategies that minimise risk and achieve best value to meet business objectives
As Procurement Analyst you will be responsible;
- Preparing and present detailed insights and evaluations to support the decision making process.
- You will have an interesting array of procurement stakeholders, working collaboratively with the Category Management team whilst sitting as part of the Business Strategy and Systems Optimisation Team.
- You will be responsible for breaking down chunks of data and converting them into meaningful information to support the decision making process.
- You will be alert to system processes and optimisation initiatives that allow you to provide recommendations and informed suggestions.
- Assisting in Customer Special Bids and Tenders
- Management of short term "Special" or "Promotional" Pricing campaigns
- Establish claim back program for special bids specific to customer where supplier claim back on sell through is required
The person:
- High Level Understanding of Pronto
- Sound understanding of commonly used IT systems - Word, PowerPoint, etc
- Customer focused (both Internal and External)
- Mid to Advanced Excel skills including Vlookup, Pivot Tables, data queries
- Results orientated
- Excellent communication, verbal & written
- Commercially astute
- Strategic
- Teamwork
- Must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident with extensive local experience.
