We're looking for an experienced, hands-on and practical food safety and quality officer to join our team.
Reporting to the General Manager your key activities will be:
- Undertaking and coordinating allergen, cleaning validation, calibration and product testing
- Monitoring compliance with our HACCP, Allergens, GMP and food safety and quality standards
- Developing the skills and competency of our staff including the documentation of SOPs, training and mentoring
- Managing, updating and further developing our Approved Supplier, Allergens, HACCP, GMP and other food safety and quality programs
- Managing projects to improve and further develop our food safety and quality control programs.
If you have demonstrated experience in the activities described above in the food industry, ideally in a small business environment, and, you are technically qualified in food science, technology or equivalent with demonstrated high level results in food microbiology and HACCP then we would love to hear from you.
