Our client is Australia's leading wholesaler of fresh flowers and plant products. We currently require fit and energetic candidates preferably with floral and/or horticultural knowledge for warehousing and order picking roles on within their warehouse facility located in Lidcombe.

All positions have a view to ongoing, after a qualifying period and all successful candidates will need to be available for work Monday to Friday as well as be available for overtime hours during busy periods such as Mother's Day.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Stock control, management and movement - including stock take paperwork
• Quality inspection of product - all floral and plant varieties
• Fulfil and check orders incoming and outgoing - customers and suppliers
• Liaising with delivery drivers - incoming and outgoing
• Receiving stock and unpacking
• Cutting flower stems and placing in water buckets
• Packing and palletising of finished product
• Stock count and rotation
• Housekeeping duties to maintain a high WHS standard
• Other duties as directed

We are looking for candidates that ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

• Production or warehouse experience (order picking & stocktake skills)
• Wholesale market experience
• Horticultural and/or knowledge of floral and plant varieties
• Reliable and have a good work ethic
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
