Your new role
You will be responsible for the full procurement process for this government organisation. you will receive purchase requisitions, confirm authorisation and verify budget allocation. You will be responsible for the purchasing functions of the entire organisation. You will review quotations, determine suppliers, negotiate terms of sale and place orders.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have extensive experience in full end to procurement, preferably in local government. You must have sound understanding and knowledge of purchasing and supply management. You will have comprehensive knowledge of tendering and contracting management. Previous purchasing experience would be an advantage and previous experience in handling a Depot Store would be considered desirable.
