AWX are seeking applications for a client in the picturesque South Burnett Region in South-East Queensland. There are opportunities for experienced Knife Hands and Slaughtermen to join their team at their newly renovated, state of the art facility at a well-known, national supplier of the freshest pork in Queensland.
Work will be on-going with opportunities for full-time offers in time. There is also potential for a re-location allowance after a probationary period.
Experience is critical and suitably experienced candidates will be appropriately remunerated.
These hands-on roles will suit fit energetic people looking for a secure career in the Meat Processing Industry.
Reporting to the section supervisor the successful Knife Hands will be involved with:
- Preparing meat products by cutting & trimming
- Order processing and packing
- Assembly of orders to customer and company requirements
- You will be working with pork products
- Other duties as directed by the Supervisor
Reporting to the section supervisor the successful slaughtermen will be involved with:
- Slaughter and preparation on the kill floor
- Preparing Pork products by cutting and trimming
- Other duties as directed by the supervisor
Further attributes that may be beneficial for successful candidates:
- Must be physically fit and enjoy working in a team
- Able to stand for long periods at a time
- Hold a current drivers licence and own transport
- Flexible for shift work
- Well presented with good personal hygiene
- Reliable & Motivated to succeed
- Excellent English skills are essential
