Day in the life of an Industry Relationship & Strategy Manager:
  • Lead the engagement with industry, across a range of sectors and geographic regions in NSW, to develop an understanding of the needs of employers and assist them to fulfil their Indigenous procurement obligations and aspirations
  • Engage with government (at all levels) to support the realisation of Indigenous procurement policies
  • Develop strategy for the Western Sydney Indigenous Business and Employment Hub to execute, across its three primary client cohorts (Indigenous Businesses, Indigenous Job Seekers, Employers/Corporates), to help bridge the gap between demand and supply.
  • Identify priority sectors for engagement and stakeholder engagement strategies
  • Maintain comprehensive awareness of current government policies and guidelines relating to Indigenous procurement / Indigenous employment and future trajectories
  • Maintain contemporary awareness of relevant demographic and population trends
  • Analyse pipelines of future employment opportunities in priority sectors, by location.
  • Analyse current and projected in-demand employee skill sets and/or business types relevant to priority sectors
  • Analyse current and projected employee and business types supply trends relevant to priority sectors
  • Integrate stakeholder details into Client Relationship Management System
  • Work collaboratively with Director and other Hub staff to develop implementable strategies
  • Work collaboratively with Employment Pipeline Management Data Analyst/Modeller to analyse data and develop communication products

  • Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
