An opportunity has become available at a large local employer to the Orange region. A Risk and HSEC position is open to provide administrative support to the projects and assets management team.
To be eligible for the role a background of around 5 years in a similar role is required. The position will be responsible for administration and distribution of up-to-date Project Action Registers (PAR) for
each project specifically following Safety-in-Design Reviews, Risk Assessments / CRAW’s, other Assurance Reviews.
Further areas of the role include:
- Data collation for monthly HSEC reports, contractors HSEC data and training records (e.g. VoC/certification)
- Collation and distribution of Significant Potential Incidents (SPI), Safety bulletins and notice board compliance
- Assist Project Administrator with onboarding of contracting partners
- Maintain archival information and hard copies i.e. sign off sheets for Safety-in-Design / Risk Assessment reviews/meetings
-Follow up with respective Risk Action/ Other Action Owners to ensure actions are being addressed as per priorities/due dates; generate 'health check' reports for Superintendent Projects.
-Provide assistance and Support to Asset Management Risk Team.
To be successful in the role you will have experience in the following:
- Understanding of technical comprehension particularly in relation to engineering, design and risk.
- Communicating with external consultants, suppliers, vendors to fulfil respective requirements
- Good interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to ask necessary questions to obtain a clear understanding of requirements before commencing work.
The role is currently for 6 months with the capacity to be extended for a further for the right applicant.
