What you'll be doing
 
The Policy & Briefing Support Officer undertakes a range of research, analysis and administrative activities to support the formulation of policy advice and recommendations and contributes to the development of policies that support eHealth NSW/ NSW Health commitments.

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or strong proven policy and briefing experience in a Public Service and/or Information Technology organisation
  2. Demonstrated high level problem-solving skills and a forward thinking approach including the ability to analyse and interpret information to understand challenges and recommend business focused solutions.
  3. Capacity to communicate effectively through developing high level briefing documentation, and correspondence to senior internal and external stakeholders including Directors, Ministerial Government Officials and Vendors.
  4. Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
  5. Proven engagement, collaboration and customer service skills with the capability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders;
  6. Demonstrated proficiency using records management systems and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
