As a Sample Preparation Assistant, your duties will include performing manual tasks to prepare coal samples for laboratory analysis as well as storing and archiving samples. Full training will be provided.
Those that perform well may advance to a permanent position or a Laboratory role where you would be responsible for performing laboratory analysis, quality assurance monitoring, completing control charts and reporting laboratory test results.
To be successful in the role you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
• Reliable and able to work weekends & shift work
• Able to multi task and have a methodical, well organised approach to your work
• Good computer skills including MS Excel
• Able to lift heavy items in excess of 15kg
• Live locally
• Hold a NSW manual driver's licence
• Strong work ethic
Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing will be a requirement of working on site.
