TECHSERVE has partnered with Rio Tinto Kestrel Mine to provide skilled labour for conveyor installation / infrastructure works at the mine. Both organisations have a strong commitment to a culture of safety and team work in all areas of our operations.
We require an experienced Underground Electrical Conveyor Installation Coordinator to lead our project teams on our long term project at Kestrel Mine near Emerald. You will need to have a clear ability to plan and coordinate installation task, meet project schedule milestones, and coordinate the daily management of a conveyor installation team, including supervisors, electrical trades and operators.
About you:
You will have previous experience in underground conveyor installation and commissioning abilities, must have Microsoft Project experience, good computer skills and the ability to work independently.
You will need to have:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in underground coal
- Previous supervisory experience at an underground coal mine
- Relevant underground equipment tickets
- Electrical trade or engineering background
- High level of computer literacy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Current underground Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Surface & Underground (Statement of Attainment)
- Supervisor certificate – S123 & G2
- TAE certificate (desirable)
