Macmahon is currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to join the Macmahon team at the central Perth Workshop. You will be part of a small, high energy team so possession of multiple skill sets and licenses/qualifications will be highly regarded as they will greatly enhance your versatility within the role.
To be considered for this position you must:
- Complete assigned work in a safe & timely manner
- Complete necessary paperwork & computer history notes for work orders daily
- Have experience in FLUX CORE, ARC, OXY, MIG AIR ARC GOUGING
- Ensure workmanship is maintained to a high standard in accordance with trade competencies established in work procedures
- Communicate with your Leading Hand to ensure all appropriate tooling and equipment are available to effectively execute your work
- Ensure any incomplete work is well communicated to the next shift at hand over
- Assist other trades with their work when required
- Strive to meet department KPI’s
- Possess a High Risk Work Licence for Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights & Forklift competencies
The ideal candidate, should have:
- Proven experience in the fabrication, repairs and maintenance of Large CAT Surface Mobile Mining Equipment
- Australian Recognised Trade Cert
- Valid Australian HR licence
- Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance
