About our Client

About the Role

Ongoing opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Dragline Operator/ Relief OCE who will contribute to the successful operations of a mine site located within the Bowen Basin.    

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment is maintained for all employees and subcontractors by monitoring conditions and activities in the surface excavation
•  To ensure the safety of all persons within the surface excavation areas while mining is practiced and to assist in the review / development of the Safety & Health Management System.
• Ensure all Statutory Inspections are carried out and reported in accordance with the mines SHMS & CMS&H Regulation.

Skills/Experience

• 2 years coal mining experience
• BE and/or Marion Dragline Experience
• OCE Ticket
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11 or equivalent
• Drivers License
