As our next Field Maintenance Planner reporting to the Planning and Engineering Superintendent, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

Location

The Lake Vermont Coal Mine is situated in Dysart, North Queensland.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities for excavators, drills, pumps and lighting plants
  • Initiating and monitoring the purchasing and logistics process to ensure parts, equipment, resources and tooling are available when required
  • Ensuring information stored in the CMMS is detailed, accurate and current
  • Timely communication of any foreseeable disruptions to planned events
  • Actively engaging with mining operations team to ensure plans are aligned with production objectives

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Relevant Trade or tertiary qualifications in Engineering
    • Mechanical Fitter/Boilermaker trade (advanced trade Qualification highly regarded, including Maintenance Management diploma)
    • Engineer Mechanical/Process qualification advantageous
  • Mechanical experience with Shutdowns/Downdays in a Maintenance environment
  • Experience in Maintenance systems JDE, SAP or similar highly regarded
  • Experience in Maintenance strategies and improvements advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft Project skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Current Driver’s Licence
