We are looking for qualified Cable Jointers to join our team in Lismore and Ewingsdale.
About the Role
The Cable Jointer is responsible for the general construction, installation, connection, maintenance and repair of both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) distribution network assets and equipment with particular emphasis on those components directly related to the underground network.
The Person
To be considered for this role, you will need a Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing with electives in Install, Maintain, Fault Find, Switching and repair or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications. A drivers licence and WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate are essential.
Skills & Experience
The Cable Jointer requires experience in the application of the underpinning knowledge required of a Cable Jointer trade in an energy distribution environment. Experience working effectively in both planned and unplanned events to produce a positive outcome is essential. You will have knowledge of general system switching and access procedure principles along with knowledge of tools, plant and equipment required for the role. You will have the ability to work closely with others in a team environment and comply with and implement enterprise OHS and Environmental procedures and processes.
