My client, an Australian owned outdoor retail company with 3 stores across Melbourne, has a reputation of providing quality products and service to all of their customers. As a result their feedbacks have remained positive and are experiencing further growth.

They have recently opened an opportunity within their organisation for a driven individual to join their successful team as a Junior Sales Assistant.

This is not your run of the mill sales assistant position. The hands-on position will include but not limited to:

• Face to face sales
• Taking sales orders and enquiries over the phone and in person
• Assisting customers with moving and loading of purchased products (forklift use may be required)
• Monitor stock levels
• Ordering of stock - including completion of all relevant paperwork
• Maintenance of store and display presentation

To be a successful for this role and to be part of this winning team you will need to posses the following:

• Retail Sales in a hardware or building supply environment
• Physically fit and strong
• Has a passion for DYI, Outdoor building products
• Excellent communication skills
