Our stunning Pottery Barns Kids store in Chatswood Chase is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join the team as an Assistant Store Manager.

The successful candidate will support the Store Manager in achieving goals by providing World-Class service. This role serves as a role model for building relationships with customers and maintains presence through store supervision to ensure appropriate staff coverage in all areas of the store. 

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for:

  • Managing store operations through policies, inventory, and business.
  • Providing support to the Store Manager and often acting in the role of Store Manager during absences.
  • Exceeding store goals on KPI’s through setting accurate goals and daily, weekly, monthly coaching of associate team members on their individual performance.
  • Exceeding expectations in sales results and service through executing a visually inspirational store to company standards and achieving brand targets and inventory shrink goals. 

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Proven retail sales experience in home related products with management experience preferred.
  • Effective communication, organisation and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to commit to working a rotating roster which includes minimum of two Saturdays and two Sundays in a four week period, with availability over annual stocktake and entire holiday season (November and December).
  • Tertiary or TAFE qualifications in Business and/or Management would be very highly regarded
