About the Role
We are on the hunt for a standout Assistant Manager. The key focus of this role is to assist the Owner/Store Manager in managing the busy store and leading the team to achieve strong sales success!
- Assist in the management, administration and operation of the store and its day to day operations.
- Develop and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and provide awesome customer service.
- Day to day prioritising of work, deliveries and production.
- Inventory Management – ordering, managing stock levels.
- Lead by example to portray a competent, committed leader to staff, customers, suppliers, colleagues and management.
- Managing the performance and development of employees, and rosters.
Skills & Experience
- You can demonstrate a proven track record in sales
- Previous experience assisting with managing and leading a team
- Ability to see the bigger picture
- Have a "can-do" attitude
- Have a desire for professional and personal growth and development
- Drive to become a strong effective leader
- A great communicator and an excellent listener
- The ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task.
- Must be computer literate and capable of completing daily and weekly paperwork.
- Have a strong desire to maximise your earning potential
- Be able to work on a rotating roster including some weekends.
- Experience in stock management and merchandising.
- Must be physically able to move stock weighing up to 20kgs.
- A forklift licence (or ability to obtain one) is desirable. (Please inform us of any other tickets/licences you may have).
