Digital Content Specialist
To meet the needs of a new, client-facing digital platform that brings together the very best of online and offline KPMG initiatives for Tax, we are looking for a Digital Content Specialist – Tax to support the Managing Editor.
This unique opportunity will enable you to develop experience in content strategy, building a professional community and working in a cross-functional team as you support the development of an exciting new service for clients. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with specialists in Technology & Innovation, Economics and Tax Centre, a range of business services, as well as SMEs across the global KPMG network and beyond, in the creation of industry-leading news and insight on Tax.
Reporting to the Managing Editor, your role will include:
- Writing articles that are both engaging and relevant to an external tax professional audience
- Producing audio, visual and social media content to meet demand from clients
- Sourcing comment from key internal contacts to include in multimedia content
- Commissioning and editing content from subject matter experts in tax and economics
- Planning coverage ideas for events, tax policy developments, white papers and legislation changes
- Using a web content management system to publish stories direct to web
- Co-ordinating various online and offline initiatives the firm delivers across Tax
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Ability to take complex ideas and explain them in simple terms
- Knowledge of and passion for the tax sector, policy and application in a client setting
- Good understanding of clients’ behaviour and needs in terms of the types of tax information they consume
- Ability to carefully manage key stakeholders within KPMG to quickly identify reliable sources of information
- Strong interest in identifying potential story ideas from reports, research, policy and government legislation
- Sound written communication skills, showing attention to detail
