Are you an experienced writer and content curator with an understanding of financial services and wealth management industry? AMP Ltd is offering a 12-month contract position for a seasoned professional who is a self-starter with the creative flair to source, produce and publish content for both consumer and business audiences. The content will be published through traditional and contemporary digital and social media channels.

You’d be joining one of the top Public Affairs teams in financial services in a supportive, high performing environment.

You’ll have freedom to get creative and build a content for our wealth solution and customer (WSC) business.

About the role


As a Communications Manager your focus will be to enhance the reputation of AMP’s Wealth Solutions and Customer (WSC) business through proactive communications.

With your creative style you will develop communications strategies, approaches and content which are necessary for the (WSC) and AMP’s business strategy.  

Your proactiveness will enable you to identify communication channels such as internal media social/digital and traditional media and then develop articles, presentations, media releases, social media posts and videos.

What we look for in you:

We’re looking for a strong all-round professional communicator with exemplary writing skills, who has the versatility and creativity to originate content for a range of traditional, digital, video and social channels. You’ll be self-motivated, with experience in an in-house or consultancy communications role, or as a journalist.

You will be degree qualified, you can manage competing priorities well and above all the ability to build strong collaborative relationships, particularly with internal business stakeholders.

Experience in the financial services industry desirable, but not essential.
