What is the role?
The role is responsible for the "Community Cornerstones channel" a brand channel that consists of 12 venues and includes some of Sydney's favourite watering holes such as The Clock Hotel (Surry Hills), The Sheaf (Double Bay) and The Clovelly Hotel - to name a few!

The purpose of the Marketing Manager is to drive business and sales growth by working closely with venue management to coordinate and implement marketing activities. This include public relations, special events management, advertising, and creating brand awareness.
You will be responsible for taking a balanced approach of creative vision and business acumen to develop marketing strategies for the 'Community Cornerstone' brand channel that positively impacts on business growth, visibility, reputation, and relevance. 

Who are you?

  • A minimum of 6 years of marketing experience including demonstrated success building and enhancing brands.
  • The ability to prioritise, use initiative and perform under pressure.
  • Good creative eye for email and digital communications.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a general comfort with data analysis and a sophisticated understanding of how key business drivers, sector and trends, and the competitive landscape impact marketing strategy and plans.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a persuasive communicator and team leader who can positively and productively influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
  • Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker.
  • Ability to facilitate, train, teach and inspire others.
  • A passion for food and beverage.
  • Demonstrated willingness to “roll up your sleeves” too – as it is hosp after all!!!
