Today, Samsung is a global leader in technology, opening new possibilities for people everywhere. To ensure that we continue to maintain and build on our success, Samsung Australia is currently seeking a Product Manager for the Home Appliances division.
The Role
You will be responsible for the management of product launch and lifecycles as well as collateral support and sales to meet company objectives within the Home Appliances division.
In addition you will:
- Work with the sales team to develop the channel for Home Appliances categories
- Be responsible for the achievement of targets through correct product, pricing, and marketing activities
- Work closely with the Home Appliances Product Head to develop the vision and strategy for the Home Appliances categories and ensure effective communication across all levels
- Coordinate with the training team to organise appropriate training to the retail salespeople, internal sales, Samsung Representatives and Staff
- Maintain up to date price lists for the Product Groups - including price moves, analysis and price protection calculation
- Provide sales forecast and monitor daily sales
- Provide specialist product knowledge to the sales team in matters of product presentations and dealer training
- Manage theSupply Chain process for effective supply and aged/obsolete stock minimisation
- Develop and execute marketing programmes in conjunction with the corporate marketing teams to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share
- Plan and conduct market research to identify opportunities for increased sales
Skills/Experience
To succeed in this role you will be degree qualified with experience in building and maintaining customer satisfaction through the development of broad customer relationships and a proven ability to achieve revenue and sales targets.
