This is an exciting new role for a data-savvy individual with great communication skills and strong business acumen to make an impact. 

 
The Role:

You will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders and clients to understand business issues, and then designing, executing, and delivering analytics and analytics projects to meet business/client needs. In addition, you will also:

• Be responsible for end-to-end management of analytics work (from scoping of requirements through to delivery of analysis, findings, and recommendations) covering a broad range of areas - including but not limited to marketing, digital, customer experience, helpline services, and financial advice
• Identify opportunities for growth (acquisition, retention, share and size of wallet)
• Deliver insights into how to drive member engagement / behaviours
• Lead and deliver key analytics projects designed to help continually increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of the Insights & Analytics team’s work on behalf of Mercer and its clients
• Contribute to the development of Mercer Edge - Mercer’s award winning Insights & Analytics platform

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• At least five years of experience in an analytical role with experience leading analytical programs of work
• Extensive experience using SQL and Tableau (or other data visualisation software) is essential
• Prior experience using R and developing predictive models and segmentation schemes will be advantageous
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain key insights
• Strong business/commercial acumen
• Good organisational, and project management skills are essential
