A great opportunity exists for an enthusiastic marketing and communications assistant to assist in the implementation of the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Australia brand refresh, including developing marketing collateral and promoting the organisation and engaging with our stakeholders through a variety of digital channels. The Marketing and Communications Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop creative and innovative approaches to marketing and communications at MHFA Australia.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about marketing and communications and keen to get involved in a wide range of activities, including updating social media, graphic design of marketing collateral, copywriting for our newsletters and maintenance of our website.
About you
You are passionate about everything relating to digital marketing and enthusiastic to get involved and learn more. You also:
- have excellent skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Indesign and Photoshop
- are a sharp communicator, an excellent copywriter and experienced at communicating with a large range of stakeholders, using a variety of channels
- have excellent attention to detail
- have bold ideas for how we can stand out in the crowd
- are keen to learn and get involved in all aspects of marketing and communications

About the organisation
Mental Health First Aid Australia is a national not-for-profit organisation focused on mental health training and research. We develop, evaluate and provide a variety of training programs and courses. We are a committed and passionate team, with office premises in Parkville overlooking Princes Park.
