ROLE INTRODUCTION
This is a fantastic opportunity to help protect and promote the reputation of a leading global food company and its brands. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, you’ll have the opportunity to support and execute a broad range of communications including PR, media, social/digital, internal, events, and CSR initiatives. Based in our Oceania headquarters at Macquarie Park, you’ll be part of a nurturing local team as well as a member of a diverse, global communications team.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and maintain the press office function, incl. media lists; media monitoring, corporate assets, media inquiries etc.
- Work closely with brand teams to build and maintain the content calendar for proactive communications
- Support the Head of Corporate Affairs
- Nurture employee engagement on corporate social responsibility and sustainability
- Administration support such as budgeting, raising of POs, etc.

ABOUT YOU
You will have a demonstrated passion for communications and a desire to explore and learn across a broad scope of internal and external corporate communications.
Ideally you will have:
- Bachelor of Communications or similar
- Ideally 2+ years experience in an agency or in-house function
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
- Digitally fluent in social media platforms e.g. LinkedIn & Facebook
- Demonstrated experience managing events
