The Team
The Future Students Office develops and implements strategies and initiatives aimed at attracting and recruiting domestic students to study undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Macquarie.
The Role
The Postgraduate Student Recruitment Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic recruitment (sales) activities to build the University’s profile and increase domestic postgraduate enrolments. Reporting to the Associate Director, Postgraduate and Product, Future Students, you will manage a team and oversee all postgraduate coursework and Master of Research recruitment projects within the team as well as actively establish opportunities to grow enrolments from new and competitor markets.
You may have experience managing a frontline sales team or working in student recruitment and are committed to hitting targets. You will work closely with our team of dedicated faculty recruitment experts to ensure all postgraduate activity aligns to university-wide priorities.
Selection Criteria

- Degree and/or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, sales or related discipline.
- Experience in sales/business development roles within the Australian higher education sector in a similar or related role.
- Knowledge of core sales and recruitment functions, frameworks, models and approaches.
- Understanding of the end-to-end prospective postgraduate student journey.
- Experience implementing strategic sales campaigns, programs and initiatives.
- Experience managing, coaching and developing a frontline sales team.

Salary Package: From $100,706 to $112,058 per annum (HEW Level 8), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.
