Leading lifestyle brand is looking for a Category Manager on a 12 month fixed term basis.

Our client is a well-known and highly reputable lifestyle brand that is currently recruiting for a Category Manager on a 12 month fixed term basis. Your new role
As the Category Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the commercial plan across the category, this includes managing store placement and pricing. Ultimately, you will need to collaborate both internally and externally to improve the business performance and market strategy. As well as the duties mentioned above, you will also be in charge of growing the category through strong management and guidance of the larger portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant to this role will need to be driven to maximise profits and build the category and brand. Prior experience in category management is essential, however specific industry experience is not necessary. You will need a good working knowledge of market shifts and strategies to maximise the brand’s potential in these. You will also need excellent interpersonal skills to build and develop stakeholder relationships.
