The Position
An excellent opportunity is now available for a suitably experienced and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Coordinator. We are looking for a dedicated team member who is ready to take ownership for the growth and development of the Company’s new communication and marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position is best suited to someone who has had sufficient marketing experience to give them the confidence to work primarily in a standalone role.
The key accountabilities include:
- Developing and working to the yearly communications and marketing strategy
- Updating, growing and maintaining social media following across all platforms
- Ongoing creation of blogs
- Monthly reporting and monitoring of social media, web traffic, sales influences etc
- Writing advertorials, editorials and feature articles for partner communication platforms
- Liaising with branding and design agencies regarding new and existing projects
- Coordinating offshore design team on project and adhoc requested artwork
- Building and analysing eDMs, surveys/polls, etc
- Overseeing the maintenance of a clear and up to date CRM for communication and marketing purposes
- Serving as liaison for press related opportunities
- Assisting the sales team with collateral for attendance at industry events
About You
As the successful applicant for the role, you will have:
- Previous demonstrated experience working in a similar role
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Business or similar
- A willingness to learn and a flexible, professional, and positive “Can Do” attitude towards work
- Demonstrated experience using computerised Microsoft Office packages
- Effective time management/project management skills
- A flair for writing all types of content
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well individually and within a team
