Responsibilities

- Manage the client relationship through effective communication, problem-solving and responding to requests in an organized manner.

- Manage up and down; Ensure you reach out to your AD / GAD to help them where you can, and ensure your AE’s are fully supported and operating efficiently. 

- Take client communication briefs and, where required, help the Strategy Planner to write creative briefs. These briefs need to not only convey the critical information but need to give the creative teams the best chance of creating world-class work.

- Effectively present creative work and once an idea is approved, protect it from all unwanted threats and changes.

- Master the detail and always be on time. Do what you say you’re going to do and keep everyone up to date if something changes. Your team and your client can never be in the dark about where something is up to, and should never need to chase you.  Always be on the front foot.  

- Ensure all project deadlines and budgets are met, managed and optimised.

- Build strong and trusted relationships with your clients and agency team. 

- Identify ways to grow client accounts through new business opportunities and by making the most of existing ones. 

- Keep your team and clients up to date with useful knowledge. 

- Maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions. Your paper trail needs to be flawless. 

- Work with Finance to limit write-offs, bill client accurately, chase unpaid invoices, complete reconciliations for campaigns and retainers.

- Coordinate production of advertising campaigns involving specialised activities (design, copywriting, talent castings, television and film with some media placement), within time and budget constraints.

- Identifying when market research needs to be undertaken and/or commissioned to identify market opportunities where necessary for clients, brands and the agency.

Skills & Qualifications 

- Tertiary education in related field.

- Two years experience in a similar role.
