The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for creative Marketing Assistants to join our team at  Green Park Hotel (Darlinghurst) & Goros (Surry Hills)
 
Working closely with the General Manager and venue team to support in the coordination and implementation of marketing activities, focusing on creating a strong digital presence.  Like all businesses, an emphasis on social media that is authentic and consistent is essential - meaning you will need be up to date with new tactics, tools and channels as they emerge.

Oversees the planning and ongoing maintenance of the website and implementation of creative, chat inspiring social media campaigns, as well as all online promotional activity - within budget yet outside the box! 

The Venues
Green Park
In the heart of Darlinghurst's Victoria Street, the Green Park is a classic hotel made for sharing stories and laughs with friends over a drink.
Green Park is known for their friendly, vibrant atmosphere and their dancefloor is famous on a Friday and Saturday night!

Goros
An eclectic playground hidden in Surry Hills, with karaoke, yakitori, sake and late night food!
  
The Highlights

• Responsible for updating menus, obtaining final approvals and printing.
• Development of marketing collateral from concept to print production - brochures, posters, menus, flyers, emails, VIP cards etc.
• Develop fresh story ideas that align with venue narrative.
• Strong focus on community engagement initiatives.
• Writing articles and promotional material for the venue with guidance from HQ Marketing.
• Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions executed in venue.
• Generating ideas and initiatives to drive venue sales and profitability.
• Staying abreast of food and beverage media and trends.
• Updating and maintaining the venue CRM with accuracy.
• Execution of partnership agreements in venue. 
• Managing the venue's social media channels - developing plans, content and posting.
• Responsible for obtaining feedback from customers via various social media channels, communicating to relevant parties and taking required action in a timely manner.
• Updating and maintaining the venue's website content including SEO.
• Preparing interesting written copy for the website.
• Coordinate web content updates, venue mailings/EDMs and direct mail. 
• Collaborate with venue management and HQ Marketing to create landing pages and optimise user experience.

• You are a people person - you have a 'real' people focus.
• You are committed to being the best version of yourself and growing professionally.
• Ideally 18 months experience in a digital focused marketing role
• Solutions orientated & organised - and also a team player.
• Friendly personality - with a high attention to detail.
• Love for hospitality!
