SALARY RANGE:
$54,620 to $61,207 pa (plus 17% super)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time (36.75 hours per week) and fixed term to 29 March 2019
LOCATION: Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role you will act under the direction from the Marketing, Events and Projects Coordinator and assist in the provision of event management, creation of promotional material, newsletters for the community, and managing the Institute's web site.

This will include:

  • Providing assistance to the Marketing, Events and Projects Coordinator in the development of marketing and promotion material for Institute courses, programs and events.
  • Providing assistance with the provision of market research and market analysis so that the Marketing, Events and Projects Coordinator may develop and implement marketing strategies.
  • Assisting in the organisation of events for the Institute, including conferences, seminars and workshops.
  • Assisting in the development of the marketing and branding for the Institute and the Community Based Model to increase student recruitment and grow the Institute's reputation, brand and taught load.


ABOUT YOU

  • Completion of year 12, with relevant work experience; or equivalent relevant work experience or a combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Experience working within an administrative environment with experience in marketing, public relations, careers education or related areas highly regarded.
  • Experience with the process of developing marketing material such as newsletters and website content.
  • Sound written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to relate well to a broad range of individuals.
