Your role:

A new opportunity has come up as marketing coordinator, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager – Life & Super, Advice & Trustee Services based in our South Melbourne head office.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in a variety of marketing, communications, sales support and administrative activities. 

The remit of the role will involve the following but will not be limited to -

Marketing, communications, sales support tasks:

  • Coordinating and creating various word and PPT presentations and documents for internal and external audiences
  • Coordinating the compliance and legal sign off process for communications and marketing materials
  • Proof reading emails, letters, presentations, disclosure documents and other materials
  • Managing notifications
  • Online and offline copy and brand audits and updates
  • Obtaining print and promotional item quotes
  • Supporting the team with its social media activities, including posting for LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Digital reporting 
  • Managing subscriptions and payments for media subs
  • Assistance with award applications and submissions
  • Emailer -  crafting and formatting messages, database cleansing, distribution and analytics
  • Weekly newsletter  - help assemble content and manage distribution

Administration tasks:

  • Managing the central share drive and email distribution lists and ensuring they are up to date and labelled effectively
  • Travel arrangements
  • Meeting bookings, catering and stakeholder management
  • Invoice payments (via Coupa platform)
  • Credit card reconciliation (via Spendvision platform)
  • Overall budget management
  • Ordering stationery, merchandise and general office supplies
  • Posting/couriering items

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working in a Marketing and Communications team for a financial services company
  • Degree in Marketing , Communications or  Public relations
