We recruit over 200 school leavers every year and the Digital & Communications Officer plays a vital role in getting the message out to students, parents and careers advisers that trade and trainee careers are a smart choice. Our jobs provide direct on the job experience coupled with an accredited qualification with no student debt at the end because we pay the fees!

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Work alongside our dynamic team to promote our services and the great things we have to offer
• Capture our great work and tell the community about it
• Promote our services to educate and excite schools, parents and the community about the rewarding careers that start with an apprenticeship or traineeship
• Promote and assist the team to deliver parent, student and careers adviser info sessions
• Cultivate and maintain great relationships with keys stakeholders
• Administration duties
• Develop targeted social media campaigns sharing stories of tradies and trainees that love their work
• Develop online marketing campaigns to attract candidates for the many vacancies we have on offer

• An energetic, bubbly star that thrives on meeting people and making their day
• Apprenticeship system knowledge/experience
• Passion for trades and traineeship careers
• Clean and current drivers licence
• Satisfy all requirements of working with children and police checks
• Understanding and knowledge of VET pathways
• Confident public speaker and presenter
• A strong passion for digital marketing
• Have a creative side to develop social media attraction
• Strong social media skills across all social channels
• A forward thinker
• Excellent written and spoken language skills
• Excellent MS Office skills - Word, Outlook
• Contribute to a positive team environment  
• Capture marketing material at parent career info sessions after hours
