Reporting into the Marketing Manager - Clothing, as Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for the following;

  • Lead the execution of all marketing activities to grow Womenswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Accessories and Beauty plus deliver assigned category marketing activities
  • Co-ordinate the timely delivery of integrated marketing campaigns in store and through all ATL marketing communication channels within the assigned merchandise department
  • Work closely with the merchandise and customer insights teams to uncover customer motivations within their department and bring to life through marketing communications
  • Translate customer and business insights into effective retail campaigns as well as carry responsibility for driving the communication to and from the customer back to the business.
  • Development of creative and media briefs for agencies whilst working closely within internal merchandise apparel teams to better understand future trends and range planning
  • Implementation of the digital activities and online content with the Digital team and executing integrated campaigns with unified messaging across all customer touch points.

This role will give you the opportunity to work collaboratively with both internal and external parties to deliver a full spectrum of marketing campaigns. To be successful in securing this role, ideally you will possess the following skills and experience;

  • Formal qualifications in Marketing (or similar related degree)
  • Extensive formal Marketing experience within a fast-paced, high volume environment (preferably clothing retail)
  • Experienced in the coordination of marketing communication across numerous consumer ATL & BTL channels (i.e. catalogue, TV, catalogue, digital, social media)
  • Solid understanding of the creative and media planning process
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Results-focused and deadline-driven with a strong understanding of analytics (in particular, post campaign analysis)
  • Strong understanding of customer insights and the role they play in creating strategy
