Major Responsibilities
Implement marketing and brand strategy for Spotlight
Implement strategic marketing plans incorporating relevant research and data from multiple sources to drive sales and ROI
Activate end to end marketing campaign management across all channels
(Traditional and Non-Traditional)
Activate innovative, customer lead sales driving marketing plan through existing and emerging channels.
Contribute to evaluation and implementation of Marketing plans and initiatives to ensure delivery of strategic objectives and ROI. (PIR)
Data Management – Gathering and maintaining key data points including competitive set: financials; TY v.LY, customer insights, best practice marketing initiatives, event summary, shopping behaviours and loyalty trends.
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of marketing and brand strategies to drive effective Sales/ROI.
Work with Merchandise teams and stakeholders to support range, distro, promotion and pricing optimisation strategies.
Product/Campaign Management – Develop and manage plan for new launches.
New Store Management – Develop and manage pre/opening/post store opening plan
Team – Support Marketing manager and work closely with marketing Coordinators.
Budget – Awareness of annual budget and process all invoices.
LAM – Development and activation of Local Area Marketing Plan (Short term, combative and long term).
Selection Criteria
- +5 years working in a marketing planning/co-ordinating role
- Marketing/Business Degree
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
- Strong organisational skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to the changing retail environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new programs to assist with reporting
