Drake International is partnering with a well-established and successful National organization who are looking to welcome experienced Boiler Makers to join their successful and well-established service team based in Port Hedland.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Boilermakers based in Port Hedland.
The successful candidates will be required to have proven qualifications in and experience in Boilers, Vessels, Exchangers, Pumps and other refinery equipment and is familiar with the disassembling and reassembling of such equipment including any associated piping make up, blinding or bolt up. You should also have training on rigging and be able to assist with crane and hand rigging operations.

About You
We are looking for 4 experienced Boilermakers based in Port Hedland or will to relocate. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction, maintenance or turnaround, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry.
CCER Boilermaker Certification Preferred,

To be successful you must be able to:
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Follow and comprehend supervisor’s instructions.
• Perform basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Maintain communications with supervisor of job status and current assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean jobsite free of tripping hazards and unnecessary obstacles.
• Working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Bend, squat and kneel.
• Climbing ladders and scaffolds and working at heights.
• Lift and carry up weights.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Perform work wearing personnel protective equipment: including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.
• Work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration’s of up to 8 weeks or more.
• Pass a Drug and alcohol screening.
