Mid 2018 Brighton BMW moves into its brand-new facility located in the heart of Brighton and we are now looking for the right people to join our team prior to the move in Q3.
We are currently seeking a Parts Apprentice to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for a hard working, customer focused individual who would like to get their foot in the door in the Automotive industry.
Your responsibilities will be varied and include:
- Assisting with maintaining an up to date parts inventory
- Correct supply and invoicing of parts sales to internal departments
- Maximising part sales profit margins where possible
- Picking and packing parts
- Ordering parts and Stocking shelving
- Updating parts price lists
- Organising exchange and parts returns
You will have access to mature mentoring, structured apprenticeship program and professional development opportunities.
About you:
- You have a strong understanding or interest in how mechanics work
- You enjoy Face-to-face and over the phone customer service
- You enjoy working within a team environment to strict deadlines
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry
- The ability to carry out instructions as required in a timely manner
- An ability to comply with processes, policies and procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to plan and prioritize work
- To be able to work in a team environment and contribute to organisational goals/targets
