Our client specialises in the Manufacture and Refurbish of Hydraulic Components for Mining and Heavy Engineering Equipment.

Our client is seeking a mechanically minded Trade Assistant to join works in the Hydraulic Department based in Pinkenba (Brisbane Inner Suburbs).

What the role entails:

• Provide support to the Tradesman involved in the repair and overhaul of hydraulic equipment
• Removal/ install of small engine componentry
• Assist with rebuilding of rotatable components
• General workshop duties
• Safe use of hand and power tools

To be successful, you would have the following:

• Relevant experience assisting Hydraulic Fitters and Machinists
• Mechanical mind/ aptitude with a variety of plant and equipment
• Experience with mining and heavy engineering equipment (highly regarded)
• An excellent work ethic, a strong focus on safety, and a high degree of reliability and dedication to providing quality workmanship.
• Great safety record
